Making Disciples
Christ Command
Christ's last words to His disciples before he ascended into Heaven was a command, a commission which He expected His Disciples to fulfill. He believed they would want to fulfill this commission. He believed they could no longer go and live life as they had, but would be committed to fulfilling His last words, His commission, His mission.
This commission, this command, this mission is Christ commission, Christ's command, Christ's mission for us today. God does not force us. If we are truly born again, we can no longer go and live life as we had, but we will fill compelled, to fulfill Christ's commission. Matt. 28:18-20 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age |
